"Child No. 82" is a Filipino fantasy dramedy about 16-year-old Max, who must reach the public viewing of the late action-fantasy star Maximo "Boy Kana" Maniego Jr.'s wake to prove he is the icon's 82nd child. Max needs to confirm his paternity to secure his inheritance and support his pregnant teenage girlfriend. His journey is complicated by a throng of devoted fans and other "villains" who also want to pay their final respects, making his race to the casket a challenging quest for identity and birth right.
